The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life model - when development starts from within

The Tree of Life is our own model for personal development - built on experience, knowledge and humanity. The model is designed to make development concrete, visual and balanced. It is based on what we know works: values, self-esteem and health - and how these elements combine to create a sustainable life.

The Tree of Life model is used in individual programmes, leadership development and workshops - helping people find direction, meaning and energy.

Roots - your values and foundation

Everything starts with the roots. In the Tree of Life, they represent:

  • Your personal values

  • What you believe in and what makes sense to you

  • What you return to when life gets tough

Without clear roots, it's hard to stand firm - and even harder to grow. When we work with the Tree of Life, we always start with a values clarification. What is important to you? What guides your choices?

Stuttering - self-esteem, identity and resilience

The trunk carries the tree. It symbolises your inner strength:

  • Your self-esteem and identity

  • Your ability to stand upright, even in windy conditions

  • Your relationship with yourself

We work with self-awareness, reflection and resilience. Not as performance, but as the ability to be human - in balance. When the stutter is strong, you can both reach out and speak up.

Crowns - health, relationships and life energy

The Tree of Life has three crowns - and they all need to be nourished and balanced:

  1. Mental health
    Thoughts, emotions, stress management, self-care

  2. Physical health
    Sleep, movement, food, recovery

  3. Relationships of life
    Family, friendships, career, leisure

Often we only focus on one penny at a time - work or training, for example - but forget that they are connected. When we balance the mental and physical, relationships can flourish.

The Tree of Life in practice - how we use the model

We use the Tree of Life as a visual and practical model in our coaching and workshops. It creates overview, depth and dialogue - without being fluffy or academic.

🔹 In individual programmes, it helps you find direction and strength
🔹 In company programmes it is used to create common language and well-being
🔹 For athletes, customise the model for goals, mindset and health

The model becomes a mirror and a map. Not to find one right path - but to clarify your own.

Health as a balance - not a goal

At MindShaped, we define health as the balance between mental and physical health. Not as a specific weight, diet plan or number of steps. But as a sense of vigour and direction.

The Tree of Life helps you find your way back to balance - or discover where it's out of balance. And most importantly, what it takes to find it again.

Shaper says:

"A tree grows from the inside out - just like people. When the roots are strong, you can reach higher towards the sky." 🐬

Do you want to work with the Tree of Life?

🎯 4 Bulletpoints about our concept and approach

Roots, stem, crown - a practical compass The roots are your values, the stem is your self-esteem/mindset, and the crown is your everyday life: health, relationships and ambitions. When the roots are firm, the crown can flourish.

From values to everyday choices - We clarify your value compass and translate it into stop-start-keep choices. This makes it easier to say yes/no with confidence - and act without hesitation.

Mental and physical balance - Small, measurable habits for sleep, movement, diet, breaks and focus. A simple weekly rhythm + check-ins create momentum without overload.

konceptpyramide

Insight → behaviour → results - We work in short sprints with micro-habits, accountability and celebration of progress. The impact is measured in energy, calm, relationships - and in momentum that can be felt.
